LORD, I Want to See - Part 3

continued from Part 2.

"Unless you let Me wash your feet, you have no part with Me.

Knowing those who've had a bath have been declared clean."

After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around Him. 

He came to Simon Peter, who said to Him, "Lord, are You going to wash my feet?"  

Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."  

"No," said Peter, "You shall never wash my feet." 

Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me."  

"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"  

Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean."  (John 13:5-10a) 

"And if I didn't spare My Son, but gave Him up for you.

How will I not, along with Him, give all things to you?"

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all--how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?  (Rom 8:32)

"I am for you."

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?  (Rom 8:31)

Humbled at the feet of my loving Savior
Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at His feet and, trembling with fear, told Him the whole truth.  He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."  (Mark 5:33-34)

I am overwhelmed by Your grace
From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. (John 1:16)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Rom 3:23-24)

Give me simple faith to believe Your Word
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.  (Psa 119:18)

"'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."  Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" (Mark 9:23-24)

Jesus, let me see through Your eyes
"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. 
The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see." 
"Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." 
Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
